inspired

I had a good friend stop by last week and show me the darling

quilts she had finished and i fell in love with this one she made.

So naturally i had to copy her and make my own version.

(although, for the record, i liked hers better!)

Ideas for the new year...

New Years Resolution: 1 quilt a month. Enjoy the quilting journey.

Reality: More like 2 and pedal to the floor.

My new addiction

I must have a highly addictive personality.

I seem to get hooked on things

and then take them to the extreme. I could have just

made 2 dresses, one for each of my girls...

but this is what i ended up with.

I'm tired...

Loose Ends.

This must be the week of old projects. I feel like

tying up all the loose ends.(although i'm not disillusioned

enough to think that they ever stop.) But i'll keep at it!

This project was inspired by a fuzzy magazine clipping that

i must have had now for at least 2 years. Better late than never!

Making the rounds...

The stomach flu has been making the rounds in our

family this week which means a lot of laundry, and a little

bit of down time. Just enough to time to whip up the

camera strap that i have had on my list for a year.
